G-10 is a high-performance thermoset composite material, consisting of woven fiberglass cloth impregnated with an epoxy resin. This material is highly valued for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of industrial and mechanical applications. G-10 provides exceptional mechanical strength, maintaining its structural integrity under stress, and offers superior dimensional stability, even in challenging environments. It also has good resistance to wear and abrasion, making it a durable material in applications requiring toughness. While G-10 is not inherently flame retardant like FR-4, it still performs well in high-temperature applications, withstanding continuous use temperatures up to 140°C (284°F).
